Submission
The contest is open to all cocker spaniels (English, American, or mix)
Please include the following information:
Pet's name
Breed
Sex
Age
Location (state, province)
If your pet has a web page please list this too.
Your name
A paragraph or two describing your dog. If your dog is a rescue/adopted please include this information as well.
Include a nice photo of your dog. A large file size is best. File sizes of 10 or 20K probably won't make good pictures. Please do not attempt to use "red eye" correction on your pictures as the results are often poor. Do not crop/trim your photos. Cropped photos will not be accepted.
Winners
Winners will have their own home page created here at MyCockerSpaniel.com. Winners may update their profiles at any time and add pictures (limit 2) and or movies (limit 1).
At this time winners will be chosen by Quick Poll results.
Previous winners may submit again after 1 year.
Contest is currently monthly. Winners will be displayed on home page at the beginning of the month.
Contestants that did not win are welcome to enter again.
FAQ's
Why do my pictures have "MyCockerSpaniel.com" on them?
Answer: I realize these pictures are your property. I place "MyCockerSpaniel.com" on submitted pictures so they don't end up on other websites. Some people actually use these pictures on their web sites and claim these dogs belong to them. Placing "MyCockerSpaniel.com" on pictures discourages this practice. If you request, I will not brand your picture.
Why is my dog at the bottom of the page instead of being on top?
Answer: Contestants are placed according to when their entry was received. "First come, first serve."
How long does it take for a reply after I send you an e-mail for the contest?
Answer: Unfortunately, sometimes it takes a month. I update the web site when I have time. Sometimes you won't hear from me until after I've already put your cocker in the contest.
