{"id":473,"date":"2012-01-14T21:44:04","date_gmt":"2012-01-15T02:44:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mycockerspaniel.com\/?p=473"},"modified":"2012-01-14T21:50:19","modified_gmt":"2012-01-15T02:50:19","slug":"reward-offered-after-cocker-mix-shot-in-michigan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mycockerspaniel.com\/blog\/?p=473","title":{"rendered":"Reward offered after cocker mix shot in Michigan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police in Standish, Michigan are looking for those responsible in a dog shooting case.\u00a0 Haley, a seven-year-old cocker spaniel\/golden retriever mix was found dead along Highway 23 on December 29th, 2011.\u00a0 She had been shot in the hind leg and above the eye.\u00a0 Haley&#8217;s owner, Rob Rezler, had been playing catch with her just two days before when she ran off and never returned.\u00a0 He wonders why anyone would want to harm her.<\/p>\n<p>The Humane Society of the United States is offering a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.humanesociety.org\/news\/press_releases\/2012\/01\/reward_offered_standish_01052012.html\" title=\"HSUS Press Release\" target=\"_blank\">$2,500 reward<\/a> in her case.\u00a0 &#8220;The citizens of Standish should be very concerned that someone in their community could callously shoot such a gentle dog.
