Cady came to me through Shorewood Cocker Rescue. She had just given birth to a litter of cocker-pit bull puppies. I don't know why anyone would want to part with Cady; she is the sweetest little girl. She loves to "hunt," cuddle, take naps, give hugs, and wag her tail every waking moment. She has brought me love and healing that I needed at that time. I hope we have many more years together. 

Raven is a beautiful solid black cocker. She is my shy one. I do not understand it but she was so shy that when I bought her she hid from everyone (including me) for weeks. It took me a long time for her to trust me and now she "lives only for me" I have to escort her outside (the rest will go with any member of my family but not Raven) my husband jokes that I am her personal butler and bodyguard but it is really the truth. That is why I feel people who raise them (to sell) should make sure they are socialized well and that they are not afraid of people. I love her and no amount of money could buy her from me, but it was rough going there for awhile.

Casey is a very loyal and active dog who enjoys hunting, camping, driving and playing with our kids aged 2 and 4). He's very protective of our kids and has never been aggressive towards our children. Pictured with his cat companion "Belle".

His registered name is Damaco Dirty Dancing, but his pet name is Casper, (or Cass(ie)). Casper is our boisterous little boy who came to us aged 4 months, as his first owners decided that they did not want him. What a mistake they made! Since bringing him into our home in April 2004, Cass has become an integral member of our family, and is very vocal to match his noisy relatives - any excuse for a bark, a moan or a grumble and he will take it - he even answers back with little mumblings when being told off! Casper has the active and intelligent traits of Cockers, he enjoys his daily walks by the canal, and treats when he visits the local beacon or forest. Despite being a filly grown male, passersby still often assume him to be a female pup, for he is quite small and has an endearing face. And I suppose the fact that we call him 'Cassie' can't help much! In addition, Cassie attends weekly training classes and can proudly boast that he passed his Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award with ease, and is well on the way to his Silver. He is our first dog, and I can't imagine life without our 'merry cocker' Cass. 

Cassie is a lovable red and white parti who came into my life just 6 weeks old. She was born the day after my first Cocker Samantha died and helped to heal my broken heart. She's probably one of the few examples of a Christmas puppy gift that didn't get lost in the holiday. We've been together ever since.

Chamie, loves to chase anything that moves. We go for long walks every day. When we first moved to Texas 6 years ago she has never heard thunder before. She is my best friend. 

Charlie is my purebred Blue Roan Cocker Spaniel. He is just a puppy right now and is a very cute little male. His birthday is on 17 June 2004. He lives in Australia with his owners, Tara and Paul. He has a favourite tennis ball and loves meal times. He also loves cuddles too. Cocker Spaniels are the most special companions, we think he's great! 

I got Charlie when he was 8 weeks old. It was love at first sight! I had my heart set on a buff colored bitch pup, but when I started looking I couldn't find any. I called on a newspaper ad who had only one pup left, so I went to look. I brought him home the same day! Like all cocker's he's very much a sticker, goes where ever I go and hates it whenever I leave. He loves to play with other dogs and cats and kids if the kids are a little older than 5 or so. He is smaller than most other cockers even for bitches. He's only 13 inches tall and weights 25 lbs! I love my Charlie T. (Trouble) Brown Barknbush! 

Charlie's real name is Bonnie's Prince Charles. Charlie came to us in August 2005, a gift from our youngest son. He is a joy to be around and so funny and smart. He hates the sun which isn't too good being where we live but he loves the Winter with it's cooler weather and the snow. He is ready at a moments notice to go with my Hubby to investigate in the back yard or chase the wild cats but comes to me if he is scared, hurt, sleepy or just needs some loving. He stays on the back of the couch and waits for us to return. He loves his baby alien and his squeaky bug. He never tires from chasing them and bringing them back. He also loves moving the computer mouse and hitting the keyboard to change the monitor pictures.

Chipper is playful, friendly, spoiled people puppy. She loves taking walks, laying in the sun, getting the newspaper and mail, and meeting people. She likes to eat cheese, treats, and food as much as she can. She's a very sweet dog.

Chloe is the eldest of our three girls, she has two younger sisters Zoe (boxer) and Chewger (Silky Terrier), both of whom she dislikes.

Chloe is a lovely little dog (17 lbs) that is very affectionate and loyal to her family. She may be a bit spoiled, but is the princess of our home and the apple of her Daddy's eye. This little girl knows what she wants, and usually gets it one way or another. She was born jet black and gradually turned "sable" as she got older and turned out to be a real beauty. This little dog will have our hearts forever - the kind of personality you don't soon forget. We look forward to many more happy years with her.

Chopper is a very active American cocker. He plays with his older sister a border collie and has learned that the cats don’t want to play with him, He loves squeaky toys, walks, baths and being with his people. Chopper can sit, shake and lay down: he loves to go to the doggy park and shopping at petsmart. Chopper is always excited to see his people and always ready to curl up in their laps and spend time with them. Chopper will eat anything and loves to get into everything. Chopper plays hide and seek, he takes and hides your belongings and you have to try and find them- and hope he didn’t chew them. 

She is loving, very playful, always has a toy in her mouth and is a DIVA! Very jealous and loves to sleep in the bed with us.

We rescued Cody Hershel last April from Abandoned Angels in Flushing, NY (a wonderful rescue organization specializing in placing cockers into good families). Cody came from a loving family that had to have him adopted out due to a family members illness. Cody is a wonderful, gorgeous and loving pup who enjoys cuddling, very long tummy rubs and playing in the backyard with his 2 brothers (Wilbur Bud and Buster Elmer) and sister (Beulah Belle) ! We are so happy to have him in our family.

Cooper " Laze" Aycock has become a joy in me and my sister life. Cooper is a very active, attractive and strong cocker. He loves to fetch, chew any type of paper, and sleep on his back. He is just the best thing that has ever happened in our life. We love him for that and looking to buy or adopt him a friend.  

This is our precious little boy Cooper. Cooper came to me as a birthday present from my Dad who has come to live with us and knew how much I loved cockers and had always wanted a buff one. We purchased him from Mary Lou MacKenzie of Ican Kennel in Meghers Grant N.S. and are thrilled with what a healthy pup he is and what a wonderful disposition he had. We hope to get a brother or sister for Cooper down the road.  

Cooper brings more smiles to our face every day than we can count. He is like a living stuffed animal. He loves to be around us whether its playing with his toys or pouncing on our bed . Just looking at him makes people stop in their tracks on the street to either pet or compliment him. The hardest part of our day is not being with him. We find ourselves rushing home from work every day just to see his smile when we walk in the door. One thing he certainly is not afraid to do is show affection... he truly is a member of our family and we treat him as so. 

Cooper (buff colored) is spoiled rotten and we love him very much. He has a brother Wilson (chocolate colored cocker) whom he loves to play with. He sleeps with us every night and snores very loudly.
