I recommend you subscribe to the Announcements so you won't miss any important notices. Go to the Announcements forum and click "Watch Forum." A dialog box will open. Select the "Emails" checkbox and click the "Watch Forum" button. I recommend you uncheck the "Alerts" checkbox since you won't need both.

You can undo this at anytime by going to the Announcements Forum and clicking "Unwatch Forum."
