No one ever had a dog in my family and I was always discouraged. I wanted one all my life and I eventually stopped traveling for my job and got my Buster. There were so many to choose from, but when I saw him and held him I knew it was love at first sight. I checked out his brother too, who looked like him, but when I picked him up Buster actually acted jealous.

He has brought joy to my family’s life-everyone fell in love with him. My daddy died when Buster was just 6 months but I know without Buster the rest of my family would not have gotten through this horrible time as well as we did. He is part of the family and is the most adorable boy I could ask for- especially when he snuggles against me at night when we sleep. 

Jake is a cancer survivor of 5 years. During his treatment, Jake had to have one of his eyes, an ear, and a small portion of his jaw removed along with 18 bouts of radiation. And he is doing great!!!

This is Charlie and Little Joe! There are both cockers. Charlie now is a 3 old male and Joe actually just turned 2 today. They of course are brothers, but not by blood! We had just put down our sweet black cocker Stanley last Jan and before this we heard that Charlie needed a home, through a friend, they didn't have time for him and felt it best to give him up to a home where he would be loved and more time spent with him! He was 7 months, he is so sweet but sure has some quirks from before us ! After Stanley passed away we got Joey our very 1st puppy. Oh my what a sweetie! Charlie & Joey became instant pals and I couldn't imagine them now without each other. However at times I am sure they wish the other was not around, but doesn't last long! Our sweet Joe however, already has cataracts, that really sucks big time, I just pray they don't get any worse for years.

Bailey is my first ever pup and is non-stop fun he loves running around with a slipper in his mouth. He is a very intellegant pup as it took only 2 days to teach him to sit and a week to house break him.

Misha is the center of attention in our family. She is extremely social. She likes outdoor activities. She also loves long rides on my Mom's scooter. She has a ball which acts as her security blanket. She is loved by everyone.

I am on treatment for depression and anxiety neurosis. Misha has helped me overcome my problems. Misha has helped me to interact with other people. As Misha received more Love and affection from others, it did wonders to my self-esteem, She is a real bundle of joy. Without her I would not have made tremendous steps in my recovery. Now I am joyful cheerful and finds it easy to mix with others. I thank God first and Misha next

Copper was born the runt of the litter of three puppies. He loves to play with stuffed animals, play tug-of-war, and chase rabbits and squirrels in our backyard (though he never catches them). Copper is very playful and just loves it when guests come over. His favorite seat is a tan and brown chair which he blends right into when he falls asleep.
