Boyfriend slams cocker pup killing it

On April 14, 2018, convenience store surveillance video shows 23-year-old Delos Pierre Gallon physically assaulting his girlfriend. In the process, he snatches the girlfriend’s 4-month-old cocker spaniel puppy and slams it to the ground killing it. Gallon should be considered armed and dangerous. Munchausen syndrome by proxy is a form of abuse where the caregiver delibrately makes the recipient ill in order to gain sympathy and attention from others. The recipient in this case is a cocker spaniel named Florence. Georgina Bretman was convicted of causing unecessary suffering to Florence–the first case of its kind in Scotland. In 2011, Florence recieved emergency care several times for vomiting and seizures. Veterinarian Lesley Herd became suspicious. “Because of the pattern of collapse and low blood glucose on each occasion, and the fact that the dog was normal between episodes, I was suspicious insulin had been administered to the dog.”

The fact Bretman is a veterinary technician is deeply troubling. She happended to work in the same clinic with Herd. Bretman was fired from her position. Florence was rehomed and is doing well. Bretman returns to court for sentencing this month.

Not all dog trainers show compassion

Margaret Greaves, a highly respected dog trainer and winner at Crufts, 2014, was recently convicted of animal suffering and neglect. Three of her dogs were so neglected they were euthanized by a tearful veterinarian.

Greaves recent sentence includes a 3-year banned from having or caring for dogs. Her 12 week jail sentence was suspended.

Cocker puppy shot dead in Corbett, OR

If you love them, don’t them unattended. This cocker spaniel puppy was shot point blank on the owners porch.

You deliberately shot her between the eyes… It’s not like this was an accident. You had to have wanted to do that and I don’t understand that.

Milwaukee man stabs cocker spaniel

Milwaukee man Zachary Senner was charged with felony mistreatment of an animal in the stabbing and bludgeoning of his brother’s and sister-in-law’s cocker spaniel. His brother Elijah Senner and wife asked him to “get rid of the dog” named Brandy. At first Zachary abandoned Brandy in street but she returned to the residence on 2735 S 10th Street. Zachary then stabbed Brandy and ditched the body only to have her return home once again. The Senner family hoped Brandy would bleed to death but she didn’t so Zachary stabbed Brandy multiple times until she died.

Senner remains in the Milwaukee County Jail with bail set at $1,000. If convicted Senner could face 7 1/2-and-a-half years in prison.
